      I was really only sort've joking. But I won't stand up for a song I don't like or pledge to a piece of cloth that means nothing to me. If America is founded on freedom, isn't it my freedom to not give a shit about dumb traditions?

        Yea it is your freedom. And the cloth itself means nothing, you're right. But It's symbolic of the thing that gives you you that freedom though, so I think it's just respectful to stand.
