    I'm not a "commie" but I don't stand for stupid songs I don't agree with or give any respect to bits of fabric with imperialistic designs on them.

    I do remember the 50's though, when a farm worker in my small town didn't stand for the national anthem and shortly afterwards his house was deliberately set on fire with him, his wife and small kids inside.

    We didn't have McCarthy in Australia but we did and still do have right wing fuckwits, some of whom are very violent and back then a "commie" was the worst thing anyone could possibly be.

      You benefit financially from that imperialism. If you don't stand for it, then get the fuck out of the country and move to some third world craphole who doesn't have a history of conquering.

        Some of my ancestors were among the dispossessed and others among the invaders, but I acknowledge I benefit from that invasion, which is the first step towards any reconciliation
