He invited himself over for an entire week, I dont know how you put up with that. Thats way to long to entertain someone. You should be straight up him, tell him we hung out long enough, gtfo. Dont give him the cold shoulder just tell him "your to clingy, I need alone time, hangout in a couple days and not for super long periods of time'
I have had friends who hangout all day, all night and I cant handle it. I believe its normal and has nothing to do with your friendlessness as a child its just he WAY overstayed his welcome. You got yourself a super clinger friend. Anyone would be annoyed by someone like that.
