I swear I'm telling the truth! I don't know whether I just haven't enough interest in other people's lives, but I really didn't know what gay people actually did in their relationships until I was in my 40's.

I'm very much 'live and let live' and couldn't understand why people (men) around me seemed to dislike gays. A man asked me what I thought of what they did and I said that I didn't know what he meant. So he started to tell me...

    That's obvious. They do the same things that straight people do, only with the same gender. As far as sex life goes, they do oral or anal...I'm surprised you didn't figure that out lol

      That's what I reckoned but as I knew they didn't have the 'right equipemt' my mind couldn't imagine the bedroom, nor did I give it any great thought - as it's none of my business, I suppose.

      People initially thought I was joking - and when I heard that a man was raped, I was really confused. I thought it was by women - I swear to Almighty God!

    Presuming that you mean "How they have sex", you should probably have picked that up somewhere along the line after 40 years. Not really normal, but that doesn't make you homophobic or anything.
