Is it normal not to have a period for 6 months?

Secondary Amenorrhea, absence of period. There are all sorts of reasons for this. hormone imbalance, medication, birth control, excessive weight loss or gain, stress.

I had this problem when I a teen and all through my 20's. I didn't have any other pelvic issues so there was no cause for alarm. I took birth control for a while but really hated the hormones. Doctors just thought it meant I wasn't very fertile. But they were wrong.

Now, I'm 32, and my body is back on track without the aid of hormones. Just a healthy lifestyle.

I would actually enjoy not having a period. Lol.

I started at 15 too but I only had it once and then a year later it started to come back. My period was never regular until I got on birth control. If you're not pregnant, I wouldn't worry about it and enjoy not having one...it will even out eventually.

That's happened to me before. In fact, I skipped three months before having my last period. You're still young and your body needs time to adjust to having a period. I wouldn't worry about it.

if it's a hormone inbalence... does that mean like having too much testosterone and potentially like, facial hair and sperm???
