Is it normal not to have a foreskin?

I'm not jewish, I don't think I've ever been consecrated, but I don't have a foreskin. My brother and Dad are the same. Is there maybe a genetic reason for this?

Jewish or not, circumsision is wrong and barbaric. If for any proper medical reason later in life, the doctor could fix it without removing all of it! Its actually there for a friggin reason...

The Jewish aren't the only people who get circumcised. If it bothers you, you should ask your parents their reasoning for getting it done.

  • having foreskin is how you were born. but Jews remove it. so do many other people actually. it's quite common and actually more sanitary to be circumcised. certainly is much easier to do it when you're a baby though. there are risks with it, but it is much more hygenic because if you don't properly clean your foreskin then it's more common to have infections and spread things to your partner during sex.

  • ^ This. You don't have to be a Jew to be circumsized.

It's not genetic it was removed at birth. Lot's of people have their foreskin removed for medical reasons.
