  • You sound like me before I met my boyfriend who is my first love. Trust me, I had no idea what it was to feel until I met him. I don't know how old you are but I know when I was in high school, I had a few flings which I thought was normal because first of all, I didn't want to settle down with a bf yet and second, none of those guys were worthy of bf material anyways. But I thought thats just how it was and eventually I was gonna settle down then boom, my bf came in to my life when I LEAST expected it. Honestly, as someone who was tough and hard headed, it feels amazing to be vulnerable but I think its cause its with someone who's worth it. So basically, when you least expect it, you're gonna be vulnerable enough to get turned on. In terms of sex, the sex is amazing when its with someone you're in love with. I was already an affectionate person before I met him but never had sex with any of those flings.

      • Theres really no explanation, thats when you know its "magic." People can even tell when you're in love or just super into someone without you even letting them know. BUT like that saying goes, "it is both a curse and a blessing to feel something so deep" its true so just a warning when you finally get turned on and vulnerable, yeah its amazing but you're gonna hurt and when you hurt, its gonna be hard. People are gonna tell you its "normal" but that won't change the fact that you're hurting. HOWEVER, its worth it.

  • Weed is usually enough of an aphrodisiac for me and what foods do you recommend? Oysters? Dark dark dark chocolate?

  • Eat an aphrodisiac and smoke some weed and have some comumbian coffee, bound to do fuckin something. At the least it will be fun to find out what.

  • You sound asexual - as in not sexually attracted to anyone.

To be honest, having read through the entire post and all your comments, you also sound like you are autistic. Not trying to be insulting in any way (I have an autistic son, and I personally think I'm a bit autistic myself), but you really sound emotionless, or at least unable to express your emotions in a "normal" way.

I have no idea what to advise you. Perhaps you may find that spark when you meet "Mr Right" as joolia03 suggests. Perhaps (like many autistic people) you are destined not to be able to actually form the sort of "emotive" bond that all the stereotypical "Picket fence" dreams are made of.

Personally, so long as you are happy and your partner (if you have one) is happy, I wouldn't worry about it.

(And it is possible to be happy in a relationship while not being "turned on" by your partner - I had a gf for some 6 months who didn't get sexually aroused as such - but enjoyed the "closeness" of sex. Didn't make much sense to me, but she was genuinely upset when I called it quits with her.)

  • If you're not sexually attracted to anyone, it means you're asexual.

  • I think that this is just an opportunity to explore your sexuality! There's really a sexuality now that aligns with all different kinds of feeling so I would go online and do some research!

  • You're either stuck like that, or you need a strong emotional connection that may take months or years to build depending on how well you and your partner get along.

      • Just narrowing the choices down, you got to figure out the rest.
