  • Sounds like anxiety, hun. The only thing that helps me are my antidepressants. They slow my brain down so I'm not panicking when people are talking to me. My anxieties stem from my insecurities and low self worth. When I'm off my meds and someone I dont know very well tries to talk to me, my mind goes blank and all I can think about is how stupid I am and how I'm so terribly awkward. My only suggestion would be to talk to your doctor about meds. Most anxiety meds make you drowsy or unfeeling. I personally prefer citalopram which is basically off brand celexa. No major side effects and I notice a huge difference in how I'm able to interact with people.
