Actually, 'those' refugees aren't getting anywhere near Oz these days, and if you think the concentration camps the Aussies have set up in Nauru and PNG are picnic parties, I think you'd be wrong.
In this case however, I was speaking of those living in refugee camps all over the Middle East, Northern Africa and Europe. Hundreds die daily.
I just read exactly what a migrant accepted into Germany gets, and it ain't luxury accommodations nor a free ride. From what the OP wrote, he definitely has it better than they do. Plus, after 3 months, a migrant can still be sent right back to where they came from!
I suppose the OP would gladly change places with one of them and end up back in Sub Saharan Africa or Syria?
Just because you can't manage very well on your own and would love a government hand out, would you really trade your past with that of the refugees, just to get it? Now THAT would really make YOU the dumbass, wouldn't it?
