If I were that guy, I would leave her, but I guess it's up to him. I'm not a fan of controlling people. My stupid ex actually wanted me to switch brands of cosmetics that I buy at the department store, because he had seen ads for one brand, and liked it better. He also wanted me to dye my hair purple for his crazy ass.
The bloke I was married to many decades back (now dead) was always looking at Playboy magazines and telling me I'd look just like those women if I'd dye my hair blonde. I didn't actually do it until long after he was dead and hated it!
Yeah, I don't think I'll be dying my hair purple. I do like that rosegold color that has become popular. I remember we went to this place called Sally's Beauty Supply, and I was actually looking at the different purplish colors, and then this young lady who was probably half my age said to me, "well, it is your hair". Her comment served to snap me out of whatever state I was in at that moment, and I made the conscious choice to buy the same color that I liked, and I always bought for myself.
Now, I haven't dyed my hair in almost two years, and I can't help but to notice that there's a lot of white on my head. My mom is 80, and I think the white on my head at nearly fifty years of age may actually come close to what she's got, or at the very least I'm pretty sure I have more white hair than she did when she was my age.
