The causes could be caused by a couple of things:
1. Your water source
-City water: They might have changed how they treat your water
-Well water: Something might have changed in your well, like a mineral build-up broke up and dissolved, or a new bacteria has begun growing, or a leak might be allowing new minerals to leech into your water
2. Piping. Your pipes might be going bad, leeching metals into your water, or even leaking and letting minerals in the soil to leech in.
3. You: Your taste buds might be changing, or maybe your new dish soap leaves more/less/different residue in your cups.
