my sister doesnt hug me, she says its gross. she says omg im your sister and i say yeah that means were supposed to hug. she wont even let me put my hand on her back. i love her and want to hug her and she wont let me. i never did anything bad to her but she says im not supposed to hug her. why does she think me touching her is gross? :((
It's best you don't hug her at all since she's being weird about it. My grandfather was in World War 2 and the head of the family. He never even hugged my sister and taught me that I shouldn't either. He said women are finicky enough yet when they are your family they will be more finicky. Women always feel male affection is awkward because of our masculine energy. Look at how awkward the mere thought of this has become for you. So much so that you came online to ask this question. Don't do it. That simple. You are probably saving yourself from a world of confusion and also rejection because she probably just doesn't have the same perception of love as you do. They usually never do because of the dynamic of the relationship.
Yes it's normal because she's a female and they are always up and down about things in general because they go based off emotions more than stern reasoning. Secondly you shouldn't feel bad about it. You were created by your mother and father not your sister. She doesn't require, need, and maybe doesn't even want your love. For all you know she is in competition for your parents love and all that comes with it. You are only required to love your parents if they were good ones and that's it.
Its healthy i guess, shes just growing up and is in a place where she might prefer same sex bonding instead of opposite sex bonding even if you were extremly close when you were younger its perfectly natural. she may be at an awkward stage in life yu kno how it is.
