Do you have any dog trading books? Go to the library, and check out some books on training dogs and puppies. Is this a big crate? The crate for a little puppy shouldn't be that big.
i have a dog trainer coming over once a month he came here last week to assess the puppy and i told him about the toileting troubles and he just told me to keep praising him when he does it outside and ignore him when he does it inside. the crate is pretty big it would be big enough for him to move around as an adult german shepherd though it isn't mine it's the dog trainers he let me borrow the crate to train him in it until i can afford my own.

yes but i only put him in the crate at night he's getting use to it he might whine a bit for a few seconds but he's getting better with it
