I love solitude... pets are beings, so they qualify as peace disturbers. So I know exactly what you mean.
I'll get a big guarding dog next year for myself, but it'll live in a back yard in an awesome kennel, unless we hang out or going places together.
I wish it would be the same with relationships. I'd build another kennel, even better one for a gf.
