Is it normal my penis gets chafed?

So I'm 28 and in a serious relationship with a 31 woman for the past 6 months. My girlfriend and I have been having sex since our 2nd date. after the first month we ended up having one awesome session that lasted just over 2 hrs. Great for both of us but, shortly after I noticed my penis was sore and had some abrasions. I showed her and we talked about it but neither of us really showed much concern. The larger issue is my lady has a very high sex drive and needs her release. I've been trying to give my member some rest but she craves it and is left wanting even if she gets off by my mouth, tongue, or a toy. The constant sex every 3-4 days is keeping me in this state where it's healthy enough to have sex but when we finish I'm as sore and chafed as a few days earlier... Is this normal and is there a method of prevention other then drawn out abstinence? Neosporin during the week isn't helping much!!!

Is It Normal?

  • Engaging in sex for a lengthy period of time often leads to penile chafing, soreness and rawness; make sure you are using an adequate supply of lubricant during the sexual activity. In addition, regularly apply a quality penis health crème to your tool. Make sure to select a crème that includes natural moisturizing ingredients, such as shea butter, vitamin E, etc. Good luck!

  • Yeah just stop for 3 days max until things heal up. You don't want to get an infection and get your dick choped of do ya? Just lock your girl in a room in her vibrator so she won't be all up on you! Lol

  • Yes it is definitely normal. Especially with the amount of sex you seem to be having. You are a lucky guy indeed. However, you need to take care of your new best friend. The same thing happened to me a few months back, and I tried lots of things (vasoline, goldbond, baby powder etc.) but none of it worked. Try a penis health crème. It works. Make sure you get one with shea butter in it. You will be good to go then.

  • Neosporin is not going to help with the chafing, especially if you don't let up for a few days to recover. You need to use a good lube, for one, and a quality penis health cream every day to reduce the effects of friction and speed up the healing process.

  • I would recommend getting yourself some lubricant.

and as toxic suggested, let your penis heal.

If the "rug burn" is widespread, you should consider going to a doctor. It may be embarrassing but... getting an infection could be even more potentially embarrassing.

  • Go camping alone or something for a week .. Or go run naked in the rain and get ill.. Or .. I dunno, tell her you want to take it easy a week or so

  • Either you are lying or your wifes hyper sex drive is a result of sexual abuse as a child. Good luck with the melt down that will inevitably ensue.
