Im 18 years old and I have 3 younger brothers 14, 13, and 10. Both my parents treat them so much differently to me. They take more intrest in there lives and take more intrest in the things they are intrested in. But when it comes to me they dont take any intrest in my life and they dont even try to hide it. At times I feel left out of the family. I dont have a great relationship with my parents and I wouldnt talk to them about problem etc. it really upsets me, I dont no what I have done wrong. I tryed to explaine to them how I feel and that I would like if they took more intrest in my hobbies but they threw it back in my face and told me to stop being so selfish. All I want is a good bond with my parents and to have a mum and dad I can talk openly to. is it normal for my parents to prefer their 3 sons over their daughter???

    sorry to hurt you but its mostly bcuz ur parents had them,then had you but really didnt want to have you.so yeah its probs bcuz they didnt even want you born.....'

    Ohh I'm so sorry. I can understand. I have an older brother and my parents always seemed more interested in him. It's so hard at times. Especially when we need our parents support or advice.
    you trying to talk to them is a great first step. Let them know that you were hurt that they don't take interest in your hobbies. Tell them you need as much love and support as your brothers get.
    Keep doing your hobbies and what makes you happy. Hopefully your parents will understand how much you need them very soon.
