I pay board and buy all my own clothes, use my own phone and do all the chores required of me, I'm not a freeloader. This just seems ridiculous though, and my question stands; is it OCD? Or is this normal? Have you seen it in your or other households/accommodation you have stayed in?
OK, fine. One normally assumes children do not pay rent, etc.
If you do that's cool, but it's still her home, so that makes it her 'house rules', right?
If you do not like the 'house rules' then it's easy enough to move out.
I worked on one yacht where the owner's wife insisted that all dirty laundry must be folded before being put in the hamper. Crazy sure, but 'house rules' none the less.
We all do what we must to get along.
IIN my mum wants us to dry the shower after use?
