She isn't rich at all. She has nothing particularly valuable... She is in her 60s. She had me set up viewing from her cell phone today (website) so she can monitor her house at all times...

    Depends where you live.
    In some areas, that type of security in necessary.

    The elderly are easy prey for low-lifes now and she's probably afraid to be alone at night. I wouldn't be too confident alone at night if I was her age, but I'd only be afraid of a personal attack - they could have any possessions they wanted.

    have you tried to find out why is the camera put up?
    is it for security reason or for a show off or to keep a watch on you

    there might be possibilt that may be something is hidden from you. may be security threat

    She sounds paranoid. Is she living in a dangerous neighbourhood or is this a recent fear? Build a fence around her home or get her a dog.

      She lives in the suburbs. Last reported theft in the area was like 5 years ago and from a couple cars not houses. There is a police station like 1 block from her house.
