It sounds as if your mom is still fertile if she had asked you to impregnate her. Ultimately, it's something you are going to have to figure out yourself. I don't know your situation but I would assume your dad doesn't live there, so you and your mom are taking care of each other's sexual needs. I would imagine your mom is also aware of her biological clock ticking and that you would be a perfect candidate for being a sperm donor since her time is almost up. Although there is much concern about birth defects on various web discussions, a consensus is not to worry, it's not much different than having a child with an unrelated person. If your mom has no history of unusual health problems in her previous generations, you may pursue genetic counseling if so desired. Your mom might need to figure out before she gets pregnant to list someone besides you as the father on a birth certificate to satisfy future legal issues as estate planning, support, etc. I'm sure your mom as thought about this already. Having a baby with your mom would be a total game-changer for the rest of your life. To me, I would say go for it. You and your mom will have an even deeper emotional bond for each other. Your lovemaking will become more intense because you two are going all the way in which nature had intended, and you and your mom will have created a beautiful human being and family member. Good luck.
