Of course it's not normal!! Your mother sounds like a real bitch. And your father is just as bad for siding with her. It sounds like you need to talk with a counselor about this.
Don't let your mother bring you down. She probably has some inner conflict with herself, and shes taking her own insecurities out on you. Don't let her problem get the best of you, you mean much more then you think. Maybe family counseling will help.
