I feel for you. I made a special trip across the country with my wife to spend Mother's Day with my mother. I bought corsages and made reservations at her favorite restaurant. She insisted we all go to church that morning, and so not wanting to cause a problem I went. Much to my astonishment, at communion time, she pointed her finger at us, and ordered us to take communion. We didn't, and she was visibly upset. I bit my tongue and got through the evening, but she nearly ruined the whole trip.
