I kinda think, and I hope.. that this post is just some fake shit, just like the comments.
But in case of it being real. I hope it's not too late to tell you that NO.. it's not normal. For majority of people this wouldn't be only considered abuse, it would also be considered some crazy creepy and terrible practice. Normal people don't do this. People who do this are small in number, and they are mainly couples who are into sadism-masochism stuff or BDSM.
People in this comment section who said it's normal are mostly people with spanking fetish, old ones especially, and maybe people who lived in days and places where spanking was a thing (and it wasn't even common back then as they portray it).. but this is not the case now in almost everywhere.
So if your husband is doing this without your consent and he want you to believe it's normal, no it's not, he's a mad fucker.
And at the end I hope that my initial take that the post and the comments are just some trolling is true.
