It could be o.k if he would just drink on fridays/saturdays in the evening or at a social occasion. As far as I know it's pretty normal for guys to be drinking, loud, obnoxious, and all that. However, it seems like your husband cannot control his drinking during occasions when it's just not 'appropriate'. You should really try talking to him about his habit. Most likely he is unhappy about certain aspects of his life (Mid-life crisis?) and he uses alcohol as a coping mechanism.
