I've been observing your comments on the recent posts, cause I usually go back and read the comments, and it just seems like you're taking things seriously. It's not a bad thing it's just an observation. You've been viewing things objectively which I'm sure is highly appreciated. Hmm. I've never wanted to encapsulate seriousness. Some of the humour I try to do here, like on the girl-and-her-sleeping-boyfriend story, is either deeply sarcastic or the deadest of deadpan and neither translate at all well into the online world. It's something I should be working on, because my overall personality isn't serious at all. At least, I don't think it is and I hope it isn't seen that way. I much prefer having fun to being serious, and I'd have fun all the time if I could. Being serious brings me no joy at all unless I'm angry, and it takes a lot to anger me. I find it very hard to both have fun in the online world and be funny at the same time, because being funny online is something I sometimes have to be very deliberate and scientific about. Not all the time, but especially recently.
People who confuse their fantasy feeling of "fear" with their genuine feeling of "I'm loving this" do honestly annoy me, though. "the deadest of deadpan" haha, that made me laugh. I figured that in real life you'd probably be a care free fun loving dude. Being funny online can be difficult just cause you're main arsenal is to just troll someone or maybe just a regular joke, but that sort of requires some timing, like the post has to sort of set you up for one. Plus tone can be hard to pinpoint, but you already know that.
On that last paragraph I can see what you mean, like it does seem like the OP really is only like pretending to complain. But perhaps he does need help, I mean we've all been in that push pull feeling, where like you know its bad but it feels good, but you wish it didn't. I mean I get the whole coming off as un-sexy, but I don't know, unless it's obvious they're trolling, or there's really nothing you can say to help them; I think you should treat the post kind of seriously. But I see what you mean.
I suppose I'm often very (or too) quick to bite the head off anyone here who does something I distinctly don't like, and I admit that from time to time that means I end up wrongly accusing people of trolling or something like that. In this case it doesn't seem like anything too serious, and if it is real the OP has much bigger problems than someone wrongly calling them out on the internet.
