I know I shouldn't respond because your opinion is already set. There is no open door for you to see another view point.
All I'm saying is barely covered is what ever your definition is, and dressing like a slut is the same. Your view or opinion of what a slut dresses like.
You should worry about how you dress, not try to put your views on everybody else.
If you live in an Amish community, a knee length skirt and sleeveless blouse might be considered barely covered or dressed like a slut. If you're a guy then shorts and a t-shirt is inappropriate. However, if you're in Florida USA like the op then a thong bikini or a marble bag for a guy, with a semi sheer coverup over the top may be enough to go shopping in.
You can try to push your view points or standards on others, but for me personally, I say to each their own. If we were in a relationship (again as the op) and you tried to push them on me I would say FO,don't let the door hit you in the ass!

I never tried to push my views on to other people. I was saying that if you are dressed like a whore, you're not doing it for yourself. You're doing it for the attention.

Oh, I get it now. You're saying there really is no way of knowing what I mean when I say "dressing like a slut" because people have different ideas of what a slut is dressed like.

Is it normal my girlfriend owns almost exclusively revealing clothes?

As for 'us' I'll just agree to disagree.
