Is it normal my girlfriend is jealous of my cuddly toy?
I have a cuddly monkey called Cyrill, he is new to the home, and now my girlfriend is jealous if he sits next to me, or sits on my shoulders etc.

I'd say she wouldn't be jealous if she felt like you were paying enough attention to her.
Instead of trying to figure out if your girlfriend is a freak for being jealous of an inanimate object, try to make her feel better!
Do something romantic for her... It doesn't have to be expensive... Light some candles and pick a flower for her and have dinner together.
Boys may think that's weak or whatever, but you have no idea how much a girl would like that kind of stuff. She'll talk about you to her friends for all the good reasons.
