For many women, sex is as "Mental" as it is "Physical", and therefore they are able to quite literally think themselves to orgasm.
Additionally, some women suffer from "Persistent Female Sexual Hyperarousal" (it's got some other name too, can't remember it) where they literally can have orgasms dozens of times a day without even "doing anything". While I don't think this is your friend's problem, it's prudent to note that it certainly isn't at the extreme end of the orgasmic spectrum.
Finally, don't forget the entire body is a sexual organ. While more nerve endings are concentrated in the genitals than the lips, kissing is still sexually pleasurable (which is why we do it). Maybe you are just the world's best kisser? ;)
