Is it normal my foot keeps clicking suddenly?

Over the last 3 days, my left foot has been clicking often, especially whilst driving , each time I lift my foot off the clutch, it clicks, it has gotten so bad that I am feeling to anxious to drive now, the clicking is beginning to really irritate me and freaks me out. The clicking has only been a constant thing over the last 3 days , will it just go okay , what should I do about it?

    it could be tendonitis or a sprain. check out webmd. it could also just be normal popping and the release of fluid in the joints, in which case it is normal.

    Popping? Is that what you mean by clicking? Mine pop all the time. Don't freak. (:
