Wel my folks found out my bf or a yr and half recently had sex for the first time for us both. We r 17 and waited this long. They found out and I can't see him I have to pay them $4000 for my car they got me and pay for insurance and gas. I am no longer allowed to play on my sports teams and I have to get a job to pay them back for everyhing. They wouldn't even talk to me and took away prom. My bfs parents considered it a part of life and just said be safe. I understand y they're upset but I think they r beingtoo harsh

    if ur parents did't teach you to be a virgen til marraige then this has no basis and is THEIR fault. my guess is that they just found out, if that's the case, most likely this will eventually blow over. yes tbey are overreacting and frankly it sounds pretty stupid to only punish you by removing all financial support. what they're doing is pointless though, bcuz all it's gonna do is make sure next time u hide things better if u was economical support your parents are dumb.

    I can understand their point of view but that's too much for a punishment.

    I mean the banning boyfriend thing I get but stopping you on the sports team and taking away prom is just plain nasty even if they are your parents.
