Is it normal my face hurts?

Ok so since this morning it feels like someone punched me around my left eye, ive had this pain in the same spot once before and i have no idea why, is this normal? Why does my face hurt like that? And no i have not been punched in the face.

So what happened last time? How long did it take to go away?

Could just be congestion in your head from a cold or flu or allergy if that's the side you sleep on
