It seems as if something in your immediate environment is causing the allergic reaction. Since it happens while you are sleeping, something like dust or bed mites may be the cause. I use a mattress cover and I got rid of the carpet in my bedroom. It made a world of difference.
I was going to suggest dust mites as well. I saw a news report a week or so back about how many people are allergic to things in their own home that are nearly impossible to get rid of permanently, especially dust mites.
Is it normal my eyes are swollen almost every morning from allergies?

good advice! Years ago i discovered that the type of pillows I was using were the cause of my night time allergies.
