Could be a challenge thing, she's easy to accept adults as they're larger, but kids are a strange height for her.
As soon as you see a kid and feel her begin to react, pull up til she sits(or have her lie down) and don't let her move til you say to. She needs to learn that kids aren't a threat, nor something to lunge at. Have her 'act small' til she understands.
