    I think your dad is dead wrong. My last wife was crew on our sport fishing boat. There are still IGFA records available for women, for both salt and fresh water, unlike men's records. Find a guy who'll teach you and bring home some nice fish and show daddy the error of his ways.

      It's not common then is it, for women? You still think I need a man to teach me because it's not normal for women?

        I don't care who you get to teach you, I was just saying that one does not need to be a guy to fish.
