My boyfriend is 26 and white, I'm Asian. I went through his YouTube history and he watches a lot of videos of Asian girls eating. That's all the videos are, Asian girls eating things.

Being Asian, I always have a slight fear of being fetishized, because it has happened before to some of my friends. I love him, but would really feel uncomfortable if he is fetishizing my race.

    Well those are mukbang videos. It's not a fetish, I'm an 18 year old girl and I watch them sometimes too, and it's not because it's a fetish of mine or anything even close to that. Sounds weird but they're almost comforting to watch. I started watching them because I used to starve myself and it made me feel fuller, now I watch them for no reason. I wouldn't worry about your boyfriend unless he's done other things to make you think he has some weird fetishes.

    Why is that fetishizing if someone is atracted to a certain type of woman? Is liking blonde hair fetishizing?
    Yes i like asian girls i think they are cute, is this wrong? Am i offending a race by being attracted to them? If you think yes, maybe you should reconsider your political and philosophical views.
