Sex is very unromantic with my boyfriend. Well be watching a movie and he'll be like "wanna have sex?" or I'll ask for a back massage and he'll ask for oral in exchange. I tried to explain that it shouldn't be like that, it should just happen in the moment when we both want it. He says there is a difference between making love and sex, and that we are young (23 & 24) and it's ok to just have sex. I get so annoyed though when he'll just say out of the blue, "I'm horny, wanna suck it?" or put my hand on him and expect me to just start giving him a hand job. It it normal that he does this?

    My husband as well. If I want romance I have to initiate it. And I have also learned to just tell him "no" when I don't feel like it.

    he shouldnt be expecting anything and he is very selfish. it doesnt matter what age you are, he doesnt have the right to treat you like a sex object. relationships are based on trust and respect and he sure as shit doesnt have any respect for you. i would dump the asshole.

    I don't think he is being a douche, I think he just doesn't know how to go about it the right way. He would never force me to do anything. I do say no a lot, which frustrates him. And because he always wants it I hardly ever initiate it, I don't need to. But when I tried to explain to him I don't want sex just to have sex, that it should be more romantic, he just doesn't get it.

    The real question is do you do it or say no? If u don't say no he'll keep doing it in that way. And do u initiate at ALL when u do wanna have sex? Because that'll confuse him to.

    Sounds like my husband. He assures me its always in a joking manner though. And even though his asking is unromantic it IS 'in the moment'. I don't know though--I don't think I have romantic sex.
