    Yeah, but the whole punishment element doesn't resonate with me. I've never seen a partner as being an authority figure. If I see someone as an authority figure then it's my policy to show them no respect.

    If a man tried to discipline me like a child I wouldn't think it was cute. I'd probably put him in his place and then dump him.

    My father doesn't condescend to me so I don't expect nor tolerate it from anyone else.
