I hate to say this but I feel like if a dangerous situation would happen he would act like a coward. And that is not a good quality in a man. Im a woman and if someone threatened me, I would fight back!
I think it's pretty normal to feel a devastating attraction to the type of man that would be protective enough to have your back like a boss Chuck Norris shark punching bastard, but c'mon, you don't really want to date someone that would haul of and punch people. It's a fine balance, and if your an adult who doesn't make a hobby of getting hammered and swearing at rednecks in bars...when does it even come up? In my opinion, strangers are nice for the most part, and I've never really had anyone go after me. True, your boyfriend sounds like a pussy, but 99% of the time, that wouldn't really matter.
