I do not think its right that he is replying back to your friends pretending to be you, because thats just out of line.
Looking through your fone and stuff is normal i guess, at first when you start dating someone because because the 'bond' between the two of you is not strong enough.
He may be having some insecurity issues or trust issues or both. Being insecure means you cant trust someone, so, if you are new to the relationship i can KINDA understand why he might be doing it, but him replying back IS NOT normal at all i dont think. Have a word with him and tell him that its not right
