Well me and my daughter were talking one day an somehow sex became the conversation. She came out and told me she looks at porn and does things to herself. When I was 12 all I thought about was dolls and pink things. I want to know if it's normal that my daughter is becoming sexual so young. Or when you all started masterbating or anything. Thanks!

    I'm a girl, and I started around 10 or 11.. I didnt really understand it, just that it felt good. But by the time i was 12 I pretty much knew what I was doing and looked at porn and such. But Oh god I would haven never told my mother!! I still wouldn't (I'm 16)
    Honestly though all girls are different. I know some people who don't do it and when they were 12 they didn't either. Really, It's different for everyone

    I started when I was 10 or so, I'm a guy. It's normal. Nothing to freak out about, it's natural. Be understanding and cool about it.

    I do think it's a little strange that she looks at porn. I also think it's stranger that she talks about it so easily. Did she give you any details? Maybe she's just saying it to freak you out.

    I am young and i started around that age, don't worry about her too much, maybe the porn aspect abit but the masturbation is kinda natural :) If i had that relationship with my mum id be so happy :)

    Its good that she knows about masturbation! It might stop her from having sex too early. A least you don't have to tell her about it now!

      That's really nothing new.

      Back when I was that age the boys in class use to constantly draw naked girls and penises. And that was over 25 years ago.

      Is it really that shocking that with puberty comes self-exploration?
