    That's one of those depressingly stupid restrictions. I've probably been using scissors without a problem since I was 5.

    This reminds me of how a while ago, I wasn't going to be able to buy an air duster to clean my electronics, because I was under 18.

        They're worried about kids intentionally inhaling the compressed air to get high, which is dangerous. Apparently, not all retailers prevent minors from buying air dusters, though (except in Califorlornia).

        People also like to huff glue, hand sanitizer, and air freshener to get high, but I've yet to hear of minors not being able to purchase those. The inconsistency makes it even stupider.

            Maybe you used the wrong brand? I actually watched a documentary about homeless kids in Ukraine, and many of them bought glue to sniff, and appeared to be high.
