The website 16 rule is liability. Also YouTube started at age 14 not 16 but I guess they raised it. The not wanting drunk kids makes sense because A.most kids are impulsive and sensitive B.kids are not done developing. The drinking I don't understand that in the US it's 18. At 18 you are allowed to go to war but not drink or smoke. Wtf is with that? The labor law is to prevent abuse of children. However I think there cases like mine for example where we should have been allowed to work. Since my parents didn't plan a future for me and I wasn't trained in anything enough to even be qualified for fast food. Si having extra money saved would have let me move out sooner, buy a car and take driver lessons. As well as give me an option to not be used and abused by my parents who mental health was slowly declining as thier behavior towards me became increasingly more violent.
