    Is that an excuse or based on a belief that increase in acceptance of diversity is inevitable? I refuse to believe it, it's just a good excuse for apathy and inaction

      It has more to do with common threats which can grow at exponential rates for all of humanity - nuclear war, poisoned food supplies, disease, and pestilence.
