I'm not blaming video games, I am saying that they play a major role in desensitization to violence. I'm not saying that people should not take responsibility for their behavior but when you expose children to violence at such a young age they begin to believe that it is normal and numerous studies have shown that it does desensitize areas of the brain that respond to violence. I'm not saying that human nature has changed but to say that violence in modern society should be promoted towards children is nonsense.
And your second question is downright idiotic. The object of video game design for at least the past 7 years is to make the video game look at realistic as possible. How do pixelated characters on the screen look real? Do you play modern video games?
That's the thing though, young children don't understand that there IS a difference! Especially if gaming is their primary activity for the day! And for pete's sake, use paragraph breaks. I am trying to comprehend what you are saying but really it just sounds like you're angry at these researchers because you are taking their findings much too personally.
There are studies indicating that the parts of the brain that respond to violence can, overtime, desensitize due to over-exposure to violence, comic or otherwise and that such desensitization has the most dramatic effects on children who play them during their early ages.
If you can not have a clean and intellectually reasonable adult conversation about a concept that is only confirmed by study after study then I must assume that you do not have the knowledge of child psychology required to continue this debate.
Here's a tip, don't dismiss scientific research as myth because you don't understand the methodology involved or the basic mechanisms of child psychology.
I understand that, as a youth yourself, it does not strike you as humorous that a child is using childish methods of argument to defend their point and then thinks it appropriate to give ME tips concerning how to defend my point when your defense consisted of "I didn't kill anybody!" and "Fuck the researchers" when I never SAID that playing video games will inevitably lead children to kill others. I am merely stating that exposure to on-screen violence (or any type of violence) from a young age has been known to desensitize children to violence. I really do feel as if you don't understand what that means and being that your best defense against my point is that "I never killed anyone" and "fuck the researchers" I've come to conclude...
You're over reacting It only affects children who have mental problems If you are dumb enough to copy the game then you have a much bigger problem what they say on the news and on TV is a bullshit lie and a cry for attention as they give unreasonable answers and stereotype it to make it seem like everyone is gonna do it like they know anything but they are damn stupid those people just need to come up with lies out of boredom they can fuck off.
Is it normal kids on cod drive me crazy!!!

I'm pretty sure that people with a brain can see the difference between video game violence and real violence as it's much more shocking in real life.

Arguing with children online is pointless. Duh.

I misunderstood sorry about that.
I use to play Mortal Kombat when I was young but I never killed anyone.
