First, as an ex-smoker, how does a cig even taste good when it is a month old? They usually are stale and taste like crap a week after opening?
Second...I haven't heard of this at ALL.
I can see the smoking in a confined space, you shouldn't do that just for the second-hand aspects of it. But, on the beach??? I suppose because it is a public place, but, that isn't because of kids...that is just the rules, as crazy as they are.
They have really cracked down on smoking. I wouldn't be surprised if one day they tell you you can't smoke anywhere. I am not saying it is right, I am just saying.
What is even crazier, the people who vape so they aren't smoking cigs are treated the same as if they are smoking a cig!!! They have to go outside, etc. That is wrong! Vape has no odor, unless you use the flavored stuff, but, we should be ENCOURAGING smokers to switch, it is way healthier choice for them...then, when they get home, if they want to light up, they can!
