  • Believe me my husband is not the only one feeling overwhelmed, pregnancy and birth can ruin even the strongest women sometimes if it's complicated. And people can be dismissive of both mother and fathers feelings.

I'm a little hormonal but I wouldn't say post natal depression I (like anyone) only get in a state when I'm being screamed at non stop by my darling newborn daughter. Which lately is all the time ....

I appreciate a man's POV though perhaps I should do something special for him too cheer him up :)

    • WHOA! Your daughter isn't screaming. In baby language, she is asking for calm and comfort. Or, perhaps she is saying she has digestive issues, or her gums hurt like hell from new teeth pushing thru. Your mind is still tuned to the adult world. You are an anxious mother. Anxiety stops bonding. Smell you kids hair. Use your benevolent strength of character to force yourself to quit reacting. You are her strength, her comfort, her reason to trust, love and warmth causes growth. Now take a deep breath. Composure is a winning attribute of champions.,
