Is it normal im a girl but less talkative than all my male colleagues

Since the stereotype is women talk a lot, and men much less. I'm quitet the vast majority of the time but may occasionally add something to the conversations, like after several minutes. I'm at a workplace where men are in the vast majority (also a couple women). I'm not exactly shy, but most of the time feel I have nothing to say. Sometimes I may be too tired to talk (not that much of the time) and sometimes I'm more lost in my own thoughts

Some people speak because they have something to say. Other people speak because they have to say something. You should tell yourself that your contribution to the conversation is about the quality of what you say not the quantity.

Some men are quiet, some won’t shut up. “All women are insanely talkative and all men are quiet” only applies in boomer cartoons.

It's ok to be different. Not everyone needs to adhere to societal roles that people place in society.

I never talk unless there's something to say, and i'm a woman. I've met equally quiet men too, they're pretty common. That's an extremely false stereotype.

It is normal, I am a bit similar except I am a dude and I don't talk much in real life.
