You say pants crotch at knees, I think of a guy in town who wears long tight tee shirts-like tunic length-and pants so tight I a) think he can't pull them up or they'll crush his balls and b) think that if they were up they'd be leggings, therefor matching his long shirt and adorable shaggy hair.
He wears them down to be masculine. Or sommat like dat
