Yup I was shy, the main thing I did was realize that most of the people you talk to are open to talk with you. I know it sounds pretty silly but just go to a local park, supermarket, or whatever you want and talk to someone, ask them how you are and stay polite! That's the best you can do, if you're not in the mood of going to a local park, just talk to some people at your school/work. Hope this helped you!
