Is it normal if you s/o forgets to flush the toilet...a lot?

My girlfriend isn't the tidiest person, and when she does decide to clean the apartment, she does a great job, but it never stays that way. That alone bothers me, but often I will get to the apartment and when I go to use the bathroom, there's a nice puddle of urine waiting for me.

I have, many times, taken the day to clean her place, and she shows that she is appreciative, but the next day the place is a wreck, as if I never cleaned the space...

Is this (gag) normal? I'm the guy and I don't even do this crap!

    A lot of women are messy. Many women's public restrooms are disgusting and a lot of my friends just pile their clothes on the floor in a heap.

      I noticed she does the same. I mentioned that I'd love to get her a nice hamper that would look great In her room and help. She found it better to put the clothes in the closet on the floor.

    It's obviously normal for her to be a slob piss in the toilet don't seem like a biggie. You probably gonna just have to deal with it, and be the housekeeper or move on. You don't think she's depressed do you? Maybe just tell her its better to flush it, I mean it does leave a flim on the bowl which makes it need scrubbed more often.

    My SO can be messy and if I get on to her she does it all the more. Sometimes I'll ask her why she left something in a mess and she'll tell me it's just so she can lounge on the sofa and watch me clean it up. Sometimes that doesn't play out well. When it comes to piss some people do go for the yellow mellow. But I also know a girl who leaves the toilet unflushed on purpose like she wants the world to have to deal with her shit and she is not in a good place. My SOs mess is one of her down sides but I do stuff that annoys her too and we live with it for the good things.

    I don't flush the toilet if I just take a piss. I do eventually but I usually just let it mellow for a while. If it's shit though, I always flush. I'll admit that I don't always wash though. I work online sometimes and I don't want to risk getting my keys wet.

    I live with my boyfriend and we try to do what we can to save water. So we generally use the "if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush is down" saying. That is an exception, of course, if we have company over. We do have that installment though that gives you blue toulet water instead of clear. I'd be a bit more grossed out if I could actually tell there was piss left in there. The again, it's just piss.

    Have you ever asked her why she doesn't flush the pee? Some people follow tbe "if it's yellow let it mellow" rule to save water. I think it's dirty though! If that's the case you can buy her a water saving toilet for her bday 👍
