I have a large group of friends that I've known for a very long time, we hang out at school, but they never call me to say that they're all hanging out. If they meet up to go to the movies, I'm never invited. Sometimes, I call them and they say they're with everyone at the movies and say they have to go and hang up. Is it normal for them to never invite me?
They may think you're not interested in hanging out or that you may not come, so why bother. Before assuming they don't like you or are fake, open yourself up and ask at school; hey do you want to get the group together and go catch a movie this weekend? How they respond will be your ticket. If they respond in kind and you all go, then you're good, and open yourself up for more opportunities. However, if their response is an excuse or a kind way to say no, then move on and find people who really like you.
